Hey everybody, this is Brian from The Broken West, and this is my first guest blog for TheWB.com. Recently, we taped a performance at The Echo in Echo Park for the new WB web show “Rockville, CA,” on TheWB.com. We had a wonderful time, made even more so by the fact that the show brings in an audience for you, and after you play your songs, they make the audience go nuts and clap like crazy. That was a really new experience for us. We usually get a lot of folded arms and judgmental stares. I also thought it was pretty cool when we took breaks, and I could walk over to craft services and get anything I wanted, for free! I didn’t ever think I was the “Hollywood” type of guy, but I guess I am.

Anyway, while I’m here, I’ll share my current top 10 most-played jams on my iPod, so enjoy!

1. Teaspoon – The Long Winters
2. I Can’t Dance – Gram Parsons
3. Mr. Soul – Neil Young
4. Dead Sound – The Raveonettes
5. You Know I’m No Good – Amy Winehouse
6. Killing the Blues – Alison Krauss and Robert Plant
7. Everybody Daylight – Brightblack Morning Light
8. Reflections – The Supremes
9. The Underdog – Spoon
10. Only the Good Die Young – Billy Joel
