The scent of suntan lotion, the beach, and the inevitable aloe vera gel afterward is nothing but a memory. But wait! Don’t get too down. It’s not all over. The Lake is still on TheWB.

Follow the (mis)adventures of step-siblings Drew, Madison and Alexis; new comer Olivia; and not-so-buddies Ryan and Luke; as they navigate the tricky road of new flirtations, hot romances, and medium-sized bodies of water. You thought you had it rough!  Alexis and Ryan have been going out for three summers now, but with growing up comes a wandering eye. And with new blood at The Lake, what will become of the two? Meanwhile, the now hyphenated clan of the Knights-Davenports are facing their own kind of drama – will the kids ever get along? Or will it be a summer filled with cat fights, squabbles, and crushing on the same guy? They’re teens! Their emotions run rampant! And that’s just two teens. There are six total; you do the math. I’ll give you a hint: it’s drama cubed.

Watch all ten episodes, directed by someone who is a little familiar with teen dramas: Jason Priestley. Start with the first episode here:

It’s that time of year again at TheWB.com! The sun is out and the beaches are calling your name, and what better way to spend it than with a splash of drama? Premiering this week on TheWB is “The Lake,” a summer show revolving around the lives of teens and their summer vacation  full of self transformations, likes/loves, and everything in between but begs the question: can you ever really escape yourself? Of course, mix in bathing suits, beach parties and a healthy dose of teen drama to make this one summer to remember.

Check out Episode 1 on TheWB:

“For young adults, summer is a time of reinvention, romance, rivalries and friendships. Families come to Lake Eleanor to escape their daily lives back home; but will they only find more drama? If summer gets hot, head for “The Lake,” an exciting new series from Jason Priestley (”Beverly Hills, 90210″) and Jordan Levin (past CEO of The WB).”

V: The Series is back!

vtheseriesblog1

It’s that time of year again in sunny San Diego! The sun’s shining brightly and air is dry and all your favorites in the world of SciFi, comics, games, television and movies are all in one place! Yes, that’s right, it’s Comic-Con.

Check out the schedule for Warner Bros. at Comic-Con here at www.thewb.com/comiccon, and keep your eyes out for the launch of ABC’s V: The Series starring Scott Wolf.  But if you can’t wait until the Fall, re- live the original here.

Not familiar with V? Well here’s a crash course. Aliens come to Earth with what seems like a great deal: chemical and minerals in exchange for sharing advance technology with humans. Great deal huh? That is until you scratch the surface, in this case literally, for underneath that fabulous 80’s glow lies a reptilian creature who swallows rodents whole and … oh, you have to see it with your own eyes on V: The Series on TheWB and watch for the remake this Fall on ABC.

Veronica Mars has quite an effect on the men around her, whether it’s her dad the detective or the boys at Neptune High.  This week on TheWB, watch and learn about three men who make an appearance alongside Veronica in the town of Neptune but be careful- don’t want to rock the boat too much.

Kevin Smith in Driver Ed

You might not be able to recognize Smith outside his trench coat and ponytail from his earlier work in Jay and Silent Bob, but this time around he steps out of his comfort zone and plays (you’ll never guess it!) convenience store clerk Duane Anders.

Joss Whedon in Rat Saw God

Joss Whedon knows a thing or two when it comes to strong, intelligent women. Whedon is the creator/writer of hit shows like Buffy the Vampire Slayer, Angel and Firefly among others. This time around he plays a rental car salesman with a knack for the German language working in sunny San Diego.

Britt Daniel in Rashard and Wallace go to White Castle

If you’ve had a thing for indie rock within the past 10 years, you’ve no doubt heard of band Spoon and its lead singer Britt Daniel. Even if you’re not familiar with the band, you’ve heard their music on The O.C., and Chuck to name a few.  Watch Daniel (sans band) sing Elvis Costello’s ode to his grandma to Mars.  Will she get distracted by the voice from this tall drink of water, or will she be able to solve the case?

Joel McHale guest stars on "Pushing Daisies"

You might recognize Joel McHale from his day job as host of the weekly satirical talk show The Soup on the E! Network, or as bank manager Mr. Jacks in Spider-Man 2, but chances are you’ve never seen him like this.

McHale guests on an episode of Pushing Daisies as Harold Hundin – dog breeder, polygamist, and corpse. When Ned brings the president of the Papin County Kennel Club back to life to solve his murder and collect the reward, the case seems like a walk in the park. But it’s not until the gang gets back to the Pie Hole that things start getting a little hairy. Which Haudin wife did him in – Heather, Hillary, Simone, or Hailey? What’s Emerson doing flirting with a suspect? And has Olive screwed the pooch with things between Chuck and Ned?  Find out on Pushing Daisies’ “Bitches.”

Born in Rome, this week’s guest star grew up in Vancouver. He got his degree in History from the University of Washington, where not only received a Master’s in acting, but also played tight end for the Huskies National Championship football team. But it was the “The Soup” that made him a household name (along with Stains the cupcake dog and the chicken tetrazzini lady).
