Right, so Rock Band 2 came out this past weekend and aside from my social life being reverted back to nonexistence, it’s been a glorious post-release week for the video game world.
That is, if you’re into high-tech games with specialized remote instruments. But if technology kind of freaks you out and you’d rather stick with Pong, well, have we got something in store for you!
Joystiq pointed out an interview with a director at Namco Bandai who discussed that the company is working on revamping more of their classic arcade games for Xbox Live Arcade. It’s no surprise that their Pac-Man Championship Edition, which was released last June, increased Xbox sales in Japan and that Namco is on the right path with this new initiative. People love the old school games.
