Multiverse, a company that specializes in creating vast online multi-player games, has announced that they will be developing a new MMO (massively multiplayer online) game based on Joss Whedon’s Buffy series.
“Buffy” exemplifies a new era of game design, allowing consumers to play it either as a fully immersive 3D environment or as a Flash-based 2D game.
Multiverse hasn’t released any more details about the new Buffy game but they did say that they plan to launch the project alongside another game based on James Cameron’s Titanic. Hmm…hot high school chicks vs. a sinking ship. I choose Buffy.
Move over, World of Warcraft fanatics. Welcome, vampire fans. Now you take the next step into the Buffy universe by actually playing characters in her world. I call dibs on Cordelia.
