<p><strong>Herb Grilled Salmon:</strong></p>
<p>Ingredients:<br />
•    5oz. Salmon Filet<br />
•    1tsp. Fresh Dill (chopped)<br />
•    1tsp. Fresh Parsley (chopped)<br />
•    1tsp. Fresh basil (chopped)<br />
•    Lemon Pepper<br />
•    1 Lemon Wedge<br />
•    Olive Oil</p>
<p>1.)    Season the salmon with the lemon pepper on both sides.<br />
2.)    Place the salmon on the grill and cook for 1 minute.<br />
3.)    Rotate the salmon 45 degrees and cook for another minute.<br />
4.)    Place the salmon on an oven-safe dish and top with the fresh herbs.<br />
5.)    Coat with a little more olive oil and place in the oven for 5 minutes or until done.<br />
6.)    Serve with a lemon wedge.</p>
<p><strong>Grilled Stuffed Zucchini Rolls:</strong></p>
<p>Ingredients:<br />
•    1 Zucchini (cut into strips ¼ inch thick)<br />
•    ¾ cup Goat cheese<br />
•    2tbsp. Parsley (chopped)<br />
•    2tbsp. Basil (chopped)<br />
•    1tbsp. Lemon juice<br />
•    Salt and Pepper<br />
•    Olive Oil</p>
<p>1.)    Brush the zucchini with olive oil, salt, and pepper.<br />
2.)    Grill till tender.<br />
3.)    Combine goat cheese, parsley, lemon juice, and basil.<br />
4.)    Form goat cheese mixture into a ball and roll the zucchini around it.<br />
5.)    Serve</p>
<p><strong>Pesto Chicken Wrap:<br />
</strong><br />
Ingredients:<br />
•    1 Chicken breast (butterflied)<br />
•    4oz. Pesto<br />
•    2oz. Parmesan cheese (shredded)<br />
•    ¼cup Arugula<br />
•    2oz. Bell pepper (red/roasted)<br />
•    2oz. Tomato (diced)<br />
•    2oz.  Basil (chopped)<br />
•    1 Tortilla (preferably whole wheat)<br />
•    4pcs. Cucumber (julienne)</p>
<p>1.)    Season chicken with lemon pepper and brush with pesto<br />
2.)    Bake till done then cut into thin strips<br />
3.)    Place arugula on tortilla<br />
4.)    Place chicken on top of arugula then sprinkle with parmesan cheese<br />
5.)    Top with the rest of the ingredients<br />
6.)    Roll and plate<br />
7.)    Serve with a side of pesto ranch</p>
<p>PESTO RANCH:<br />
* mix half and half ranch and pesto!</p>

<p>When going to the grocery store, be sure to shop the perimeter for the healthiest choices.</p>
<p><strong>Produce:</strong><br />
Fill your cart with a wide variety of colorful fruits and vegetables.  Make sure to get enough so you can enjoy these great, water-based carbohydrates at every meal.</p>
<p><strong>Deli:</strong><br />
The perfect place to find lean sources of muscle building protein.  Chicken breast, turkey breast, and fresh fish all lead to a protein fix!</p>
<p><strong>Dairy case:</strong><br />
This chilly spot is the home to such yummy classics as string cheese, cottage cheese, yogurt, and eggs.</p>

<p><strong>The Warm Up</strong><br />
The treadmill/ or a walk outside is great &#8211; warm up for 5 min to get the blood flowing.</p>
<p>Take a leg stretch-place one leg on a chair/sofa/bed bend forward to stretch the back of your leg.  Hold for 20 sec.</p>
<p><strong>The Workout</strong><br />
*Yoga Stretch  -on hands and knees- Take a balance with opposite leg and arm extended.  Hold for ten counts, switch and repeat on other side.  (2x)</p>
<p>*Hydrants- on hand and knees- kick one leg out to the side as if you were karate kicking someone next to you.   Do four sets of 25 each.<br />
1) hold every five<br />
2) straight<br />
thru to 25<br />
3) alternating<br />
4) straight thru to 25</p>
<p>*Crunches &#8211; legs straight, and knees bent.  20 in each position</p>
<p>*Stationary lunges &#8211; standing tall, take a giant step forward with one foot.  Bend knees to lower your body close to the ground, but be sure not to bump your knee on the ground.  Do  three sets of 20 each-    remember shoulders back, and  chest up!</p>
<p>*Calf raises- stand flat and then raise yourself up on to your toes. 25 each parallel, and turned out-  nice and slow!</p>
<p>*Kick ups- on hands and knees- reach your leg for the ceiling and then retract back down without touching you leg on the ground.  Four sets with the same pattern and hydrants.</p>
<p>*Yoga Stretch- on hand and knees take balance again, with eyes shut , and then with<br />
moving your leg and arm to touch the floor and then raise back up.</p>
<p>*Stretch- take one more leg stretch on a chair or the counter.</p>
<p><strong>You did it!<br />
