Warning: This is pretty brutal. This is a domestic violence PSA running in England starring Keira Knightley. The whole Chris Brown/Rihanna incident has reminded the word that domestic abuse doesn’t just happen in Lifetime movies. Knightley agreed to do the ad because “while domestic violence exists in every section of society we rarely hear about it.”

This is trailer for the new Justin Timberlake produced reality show, The Phone. I’ve always wanted a reality show where the contestants really are in danger of dying in a warehouse explosion, and this looks like it comes close. But I have a feeling there’s not much actual danger involved. If there was, I think the contestants would be entitled to more than just $50,000.

Some girls are content to be rich and famous just because they are on a reality show. But not Heidi Montag. Heidi dreams bigger. She wants to be rich and famous because she is on a reality show and also because she’s a singer. The Hills star premiered her new song, “Look How I’m Doing” this morning in Los Angeles on the On Air With Ryan Seacrest show.

Montag has a kind of breathy delivery that reminds me a little of Britney Spears, and the song features thought provoking lyrics like ‘I showed you a kiss that they do in France,” and “ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha.”

Once Conficker infiltrates a machine, it tries to crack administrators’ passwords, hijack security software, disable commercial antivirus software, and opens the PCs to further infections.

And then lots of bad stuff will happen, like websites could crash and you get lots of spam email or something.

Here’s my advice, which my Wii always tells me: Maybe take a break and go outside? Play some ball? Breathe some fresh air? Enjoy life!

The Soup is a show that makes fun of TV shows. One Tree Hill is a TV show. So eventually, you know, The Soup was going to make fun of it. That time finally came this week, with the soup taking a crack at a scene from the OTH episode that aired last week on The CW. You can watch The Soup clip here. It’s good, but I not as good as that zombie dog thing with the cupcakes.

The media landscape is changing now faster than ever. It seems like in a few months, we’ll be able to watch Blu-ray 3D movies on our iphone twitter while on a space elevator. But for now, the thing that best captures the changing media landscape is Rockville CA…or, at least the Associated Press.

Man, this movie looks like it has a lot of explosions and clouds of power and whatnot. You might not be able to tell under the green makeup, but the main bad guy, Lord Piccolo, is played James Marsters, better known as Spike on Buffy The Vampire Slayer and Angel.

Also, Ernie Hudson from Ghostbusters is supposed to be in the movie, but I didn’t catch him in the trailer. Why would you hide your Ernie Hudson?

Normally, the way to ruin a treasured childhood memory is to make a movie out of it (e.g., Cat In The Hat ) but this looks pretty good. The trailer is set up like a music video, maybe because they didn’t want to “spoil” voice of the Wild Things. But I’ll go ahead and spoil it for you and say that Forrest Whitaker is one of the voices, so at least one of them sounds like Forrest Whitaker.

Aubrey Plaza is one of those performers that is about to “blow up,” and not in the gunpowdery explosive sense. We know her as Tina Tate on The Jeannie Tate show, but she’s starring in the upcoming Office pseudo-spin-off, Parks and Recreation, and in the next Judd Apatow/Adam Sandler movie, Funny People.
