Earth-Friendly, Kosher, Vegan Skincare

If you’re like me, you have skin. And we all know skin needs care. They even make products for it now. But what if you have a problem with those products being made from genetically modified plants, being tested on animals, or containing bacon?

Saaf Pure Skincare is a product that is free of, well, everything. It’s certified vegan, halal, kosher and organic. It’s also 100% alcohol-free, which is great for scaly alcoholics.

It also wasn’t tested on animals, which means it was probably tested on some exceptionally dry-skinned humans willing to try anything for a little moisture.

According to the website, Saaf  “protects skin from free radicals, and helps boost collagen matrix thanks to its anti-oxidant rich botanicals.”

I don’t know what any of that means, but I do know that collagen matrix sounds like a Keanu Reeves movie where everyone has really big lips.

England’s Observer Magazine gave Saaf 4 stars, but keep in mind, that’s in metric.

Since I’m on a budget, I’m going to take a look at what they put in this stuff, take a trip to Whole Foods, and try making my own. And don’t worry, I won’t test this on any animals, unless my roommate Chad counts.
