Don’t deny it. The utmost important fashion accessory would be The Handbag. I’m not a big fan of following the seasonal runways of fashion designers, but I do enjoy drooling over what the models (and celebrities) are carrying on their arm.
This morning I literally had to wipe the saliva off my neck with this delightful Marc Jacobs Sunburst Stam bag in a delicious charcoal lambskin. Charcoal, you say? But charcoal is like BLACK. Who cares. LISTEN. Marc Jacobs can rename all the colors in the visible spectrum if he wants to.
I’ve always wanted the famous quilted Stam bag (until everyone started carrying the knock-offs around—don’t act like I can’t tell the difference!!) but with the rampant copying around the fashion industry, I felt like buying one now would be useless.
Thankfully MJ has come up with a new version without the trend-setting quilting pattern: the new Sunburst Stam is nicely muted for the coming seasons but still has the nice metal hardware, handles and kiss lock snaps. Me want. Like right now. Anyone agree?
