Bad news. One Tree Hill has been partially shut down. No, not the long running, edgy drama. But an actual place called One Tree Hill, an old volcano with a monument on it in New Zealand. I guess residents were tired of the “vandals and loutish behavior” that was going on after hours, so now the Kiwi landmark is getting gates to keep the vandals and louts out at night.
This One Tree Hill inspired the U2 song “One Tree Hill”, which inspired the show, One Tree Hill.
