The Soup Takes On One Tree Hill

The Soup is a show that makes fun of TV shows. One Tree Hill is a TV show. So eventually, you know, The Soup was going to make fun of it. That time finally came this week, with the soup taking a crack at a scene from the OTH episode that aired last week on The CW. You can watch The Soup clip here. It’s good, but I not as good as that zombie dog thing with the cupcakes.

Wentz and Simpson On The Rocks?

Moye March 27th, 2009 7:45 pm | No Comments »

ashleepeteThe divorce rumor mill is starting to turn for Pete Wentz and Ashlee Simpson. Apparently parenthood for the former One Tree Hill star and fake redhead is taking its toll, with Wentz continuously going out at night while Simpson is left behind because she has to breastfeed (or do some other gross mom thing).

This sucks, but I hope they stay together for the kid! It’s bad enough that his name is Bronx.

One Tree Hill Gets SIMS-y

On this week’s episode of One Tree Hill on The CW, several Tree Hill favorites were rendered as characters from the upcoming Sims 3 video game. I don’t know if you get to play as any One Tree Hill characters in the actual game, but I hope so, cause I’ve always wanted to simulate taking heart medication and sleeping with Hilarie Burton. If you are a fan of One Tree, The Sims, or both,  there’s a selection of pictures and wallpapers from the episode available at the CW website.

Oh, and I think that picture is of Peyton and Lucas.

YouTube Preview Image

Kate Voegele’s new song, Manhattan From The Sky , debuted on One Tree Hill a couple days ago, but if you’ve missed it, they’ve put together this special montage of her performance—both of her as Mia and of her singing the song.

YouTube never lies to me (which is why I now believe in UFOs and ghosts) so I guess the rumors are true about the cast for One Tree Hill’s next season.

Though the show was renewed recently for a seventh season, a fan filmed an autograph session with Chad Michael Murray this past weekend, who confirmed that he won’t be back! OH NO!

The video was taken down, but E! luckily transcribed the video for us:

  • “They don’t want me…I’m not joking.”
  • “See, this is what all the fans should do online, is start blogging and being pissed off that they don’t want that. That’s what they should do.”
  • “They’re not bringing me back next year…because they want to save money.”
  • “This is actually the last scene we’re shooting, right now. Shh…”

Other than that, you weren’t missing much from the video…unless you like to watch Chad Michael Murray pose for photographs. In that case, you’re out of luck.

The Irish Actors Of The WB

Top o’ the late afternoon to ya. As you may know, today is St. Patrick’s day, and like lots of people, you are probably wondering what actors from WB shows have Irish heritage. Well, stop wondering now, cause I did the research, and found a list of Irish actors. One Tree Hill’s Chad Michael Murray made the list, so I think if you catch him, he has to give you a pot of gold.

If you are more interested in the actors actually born in Ireland, Starpulse has the rundown here.

Into The Brains Behind One Tree Hill

Moye March 17th, 2009 9:12 am | No Comments »

markschwahn411Mania.com sat down with One Tree Hill creator Mark Schwahn to discuss the show’s current season, his almost collaboration on the Melrose Place remake and being turned away from the infamous US Air flight that landed in the Hudson River.

It’s an insightful interview into the man responsible for all those crazy twists and turns of One Tree Hill. Unfortunately, Schwahn won’t tell us what’s coming up next for the show.  Grrr.

One Tree Vet Visits Desperate Housewives

Bevin Prince started out as an extra on One Tree Hill, playing a cheerleader for a while until, in her words, “they felt bad for me and started writing a part.”

Now Prince has moved on to other roles, and her hometown paper in Wilmington NC (where One Tree is filmed), talked to her about her latest turn on Desperate Housewives, how she got her role on One Tree Hill, and what the future holds.

You can check out the entire interview here.
