Rob Corddry’s In The Hot Tub

Moye February 24th, 2009 8:03 pm | 1 Comment »

If you’re looking for more Rob Corddry after watching the entire season of Childrens’ Hospital multiple times, then look no further than a hot tub. Or John Cusack. Or both of them–but hopefully not naked together. Not that there’s anything wrong with that.

Corddry has signed on to join the Say Anything star and Craig Robinson from The Office to star in the new comedy, Hot Tub Time Machine. The three will play a trio of best friends who miss their teen years and travel back to 1987 in (yup, you guessed it) a hot tub time machine. This sure sounds like a winner!

Happy WBirthday: Rob Corddry

Brendan February 4th, 2009 2:06 pm | 1 Comment »

Happy birthday to Childrens’ Hospital creator and Daily Show correspondent Rob Corddry, who turns 37 today.  If you see him out, make sure you say happy birthday. If he asks how you know it is his birthday, just say because you read about it on the internet.

Don’t use my name though. I don’t want to come off as a weirdo.

If you don’t see Rob, try celebrating with some cake and a few episodes of Childrens’ Hospital.

Childrens’ Hospital Making The Rounds

Moye December 9th, 2008 5:30 pm | No Comments »

Our new original series, Childrens’ Hospital, premiered yesterday and for the first time, you won’t have to wait every week to see what happens next between Dr. Lola Spratt and Dr. Cat Black. We’ve got the full season up right now, and the hilarious antics of Rob Corddry have been making waves around the Internet.

So if you haven’t had a chance to watch the show yet, hopefully these articles will convince you:

  • Entertainment Weekly’s Pop Watch says Childrens’ Hospital “packs more than 200 cc’s of laughs.” We don’t know how much a cc is either, but it’s probably a lot.
  • Rob Corddry talks to AOL Television on how he shot the entire series in 6 days.
  • TV Barn was just excited to see Corddry back on the scene.
  • The WOW Report wants YOU to watch more episodes.
  • Tubefilter declares that Childrens’ Hospital “hits all the necessary bells for edge-pushing comedy.” I didn’t know comedy had bells but ring me up!

The full season of Childrens’ Hospital premieres on Monday, December 8th. That’s like LESS THAN THREE DAYS AWAY.

For our Los Angeles based fans, Rob Corddry and cast will be performing at the United Citizens Brigade Theater in Hollywood in a special preview show. You can get your tickets here, and you can watch the trailer here for the millionth time (like me).

Woo-hoot!

Mark your calendars! The new WB original series, Childrens’ Hospital, premieres on Monday, December 8th. You should already know this.

Yesterday, writer/director Rob Corddry spoke to LA Weekly about his new show that satires these hospital dramas like Grey’s Anatomy, whose doctors seem to care more about their personal love lives over their patients.
