Personal Terminator

There’s now a home robot that kicks more butt than the roomba. This home sentry robot will patrol your house as you program, or you can control it remotely anywhere in the world, via the web. It even has a camera, so you can watch streaming video.

And if someone breaks in and starts burgling things, what is it going to do? Nothing. But you’ll be able to see the burgling, and since there’s a two way microphone, you’ll be able to ask the burgler to stop, or as the very least, not burgle your Sentry robot.

Now that, my friends, is security.

The Gameboy: The original grey brick of fun.

When I was a kid, I always wanted one of these for road trips, but my parents insisted on “talking” and “communicating with the rest of the family” and other garbage like that.

In retrospect, I see why I the Gameboy was so desirable. According to the commercial, not only was it a portable gaming machine, it also gave you the power to destroy robots by pointing your finger at them. Not even a DS or PSP has that feature.

I don’t however, agree with the commercials assertion that the “new” game Tetris is “outrageous.”  If anything, that game inspired joy and happiness, and not indignation and outrage.
