Why does Santa wear red? What’s up with the sliding down chimneys?

If you have questions about Christmas, there’s a good chance you’ll find the answers in this article: Why Santa wears red and other must-know Christmas facts.

However, they don’t explain why we must rock around the Christmas tree. You think just near it would be sufficient.

This is exactly what it sounds like: Penguins in Santa suits. You probably won’t be seeing these guys in person, since they are at an amusement park in South Korea.

But, you can take a virtual trip to Korea with this video of the penguins in action.

Santa Up Your Online Photos

Flickr users in the house! Flickr has brought back the ability to “Santa-ize” your photos on Flickr with a simple easter egg.

You can add a adjustable-sized Santa hat or beard by adding a note to your pictures. Simply add the note “ho ho ho beard” for the beard, and “ho ho ho hat” for the hat. Make sure you leave off the quotes.

It’s way simpler than trying to grow a real beard for the holidays.

Did you ever wonder how Santa gets all those presents to kids? You may have thought “Christmas magic” or maybe “witchcraft,” but a scientist named Larry Silverberg has the scientific explanation behind Santa’s amazing abilities. It involves exploiting the space-time continuum. You can read all about this Santa hypothesis in this article here.

I’m sticking with my theory about Santa’s powers: he was bitten by a radioactive reindeer.

Scared Of Santa

Let’s face it, there is something scary about a burly older man watching children all year to see if they’re “naughty,” then breaking into their house.

A few kids “get it” and are scared of this Santa character. Readers of the Chicago Tribune sent in their photos of children being terrified by jolly Old Saint Nick, and you can see them in a photo gallery aptly called Scared Of Santa.

My favorite is number eight, where considering how creepy the Santa is, the baby is surprisingly calm.
