Peri-Peri

I know you guys love opening snack and cereal boxes as much as I do. Bandai Asovision understands as well, which is why they’ve developed the “Mugen PeriPeri” keychain toy that mimics the opening of a cardboard snack box.

Unfortunately, that’s all it does. This makes me sad, because I was hoping they’d also invent some sort of way to miraculously provide snacks on a keychain. Instead, all you get to do is “open” it. Boo.

Let’s Play Music!

No, I don’t mean actually picking up instruments to play. Let’s play music with Legos!!!!!

The toy company is marking their 30th anniversary by creating plastic figures of Amy Winehouse, Madonna and Cliff Richard.

My knowledge of Cliff is a bit spotty, so I’ll be Amy and you’ll be Madonna trying to save my life from drugs and alcohol. Sounds cool?

Bringing It All Back, Part III

Moye September 18th, 2008 7:13 pm | No Comments »

Dang, all these nostalgic posts are making me feel really old.

Today we bring you news about Bandai’s Luminodot:

The Luminodot packs a super-dense 70×50 grid, which accommodates 3,500 light pegs on a slick HDTV-looking frame.

It even has a blog! What, crazy!? Sorry, but it’s only available in Japan. Hmm…maybe my grandma can pick one up for me.

So this basically is a new Lite-Brite board pumped up with steroids. It may sound all boring on paper (or blog?) but wait until you watch the preview video.

IT’S SO SPARKLY!!!

Three words: I WANT ONE.
