This week’s episode of The Hills was titled “You’ll Never Have This…” which I think was referring to the show’s message that no, you will never be as skinny, wealthy and popular as these young folks. You see the private jet they flew on to get to Cabo? You’ll never have that.
That’s right. This week, the gang (sans Heidi, Stephanie and other ugly people) make their way down to Cabo for Brody’s birthday.

Apparently that’s the only place where young people in So Cal go. Remember that Laguna Beach episode where they all venture down to Cabo? And then again? Seriously, people. There are other places in Mexico you can visit.
Anyway, the trip is all tense because Justin Bobby is coming along, despite the fact that Audrina claims she has a new boyfriend, Cody. She tells everyone about Cody, and Justin Bobby, in return, tells everyone that he’s single. But of course, this rejection from Audrina means that JB has to act like a 5 year old around her by stealing her flower-adorned hair band and refusing to give it back. I was half expecting him to push her into the sandbox and then run away to the other side of the playground. C’mon, JB. You’re supposed to be the cool one. Why are you acting like this? You have to be at least 30 by now, right?
So what did we all learn from this episode? That dudes are just as girly as the Hills girls: they sit around in the hot tub and dish about how shady the opposite sex is. LAMMMEEEE.
I’m getting really frustrated with Audrina! It’s clear from next week’s preview that she reconciles with Justin Bobby, and that means all my emotional investment in her relationship with Cody is GOING DOWN THE DRAIN.
