Welcome to my weekly Tuesday recap of The Hills! The best show on television where nothing actually happens.
Now, am I the only one to notice that Lauren’s voice constantly sounds like she has a cold? It used to only happen whenever she’d have an emotional fight with a friend, but now it’s all the time.
Anyway, not much happened last week, and that’s exactly what happened last night.
Lauren hangs out with Holly (Heidi’s sister) who tells her that Heidi misses her, and then Holly hangs out with her sister (Heidi) and tells her that Lauren misses her, so Heidi writes a letter to Lauren about how much she misses her, and Lauren shows Whitney the letter but due to her complete lack of facial expression, I can’t tell whether or not Whitney thinks Heidi’s letter is really that genuine.
Then everyone agrees that it’s all Spencer’s (Heidi’s boyfriend) fault. If only Spencer didn’t exist!
Meanwhile, Audrina goes on a date with this cute guy named Colin but still can’t get that lame Justin Bobby out of her head. Dag nabbit!
The end.
Once again, we’re forced to ponder with LC and Heidi about their former friendship and the possibility of getting back together. Once again, they don’t really do anything about it–which I’m glad because otherwise, there would be no show. I’m curious, though, if Heidi’s apology to Lauren is finally admitting that she helped Spencer spread the sex tape rumor? Oooh, how salacious would that be? And how awesome was Holly for finally saying something snarky to the perpetually unemployed Spencer in the final scene?
Anyway, all I’m left with is wondering where Holly got the earrings she wore when she met up with Lauren and Lo at the S Bar in Hollywood, cause they looked pretty damn cool and oh my god, I can’t believe I even remember these details.
