Are you in an unhappy relationship? Do you not emotionally connect with your partner? Does your man have a wondering eye, or even worse, traveling pants? Well, it might not be entirely his fault.
Researchers have isolated a gene that may be related divorces and unhappy marriages. In the study, men with one or two copies of the gene were more likely to have relationship problems, or no relationship at all.
So should women get their men DNA tested before tying the knot? If they are in prison, probably. Otherwise, probably not. People are very complex, and there’s more to compatibility than just this one gene. I was watching tv, and according to eHarmony.com ads, there are 29 compatibility dimensions that determine long term relationship success. You can’t argue with science like that.
But it is interesting to think that our genes might be at the root of some of our problems. When are they doing a study on the unpopularity gene?
